RSiD was selected to launch Noah Medical’s entry into the surgical robotic industry with the Galaxy System, a state-of-the-art robotic-assisted system set to transform lung biopsy procedures. The challenge was to enhance lung biopsy accuracy, reduce contamination risks, and improve overall efficiency in a highly competitive field.
Our approach was to address these challenges head-on by creating a comprehensive and differentiated solution. We developed a unique visual language for the Galaxy System, integrating design elements across the robotic cart, input controllers, instruments, and branding. This cohesive design not only distinguishes the Galaxy System but also enhances the user interaction through optimized ergonomics and workflow efficiency.
RSiD conducted extensive research and user testing to ensure the Galaxy System’s ergonomics and human factors were thoughtfully considered. This resulted in RSiD implementing design solutions that reduce operator fatigue, improved precision, and enhanced overall user experience. Our iterative prototyping process allowed us to address potential issues early, ensuring a reliable and effective product.
