Leveraging the expertise that I acquired during working for OptiMedica I was brought in to partner with the J&J [AMO] research team to develop a new PHACO platform, conducting field research and interviews with surgeons and techs to define platform requirements.
Did extensive work-flow research to optimize the overall footprint of the system at the head of the OR table.
Created many full-scale prototypes of the articulating tray, consumables, drapes, etc.,to help optimize and refine the ergonomics, size, and workflow.
Assisted the UX/UI team in generating interface sound bites to enhance the user experience.
